Product Marketing Manager – up to £50,000 – Hybrid – 4-day week – Cambridge outskirts
Cloudscope are recruiting on behalf of a private equity backed, technology group, seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager to leverage the growth of a recently acquired business, that holds a solution in its infancy. The successful candidate will have demonstrated experience as Product Marketing Manager, ideally in a start-up environment. You will also have B2C experience and have worked in the technology/SaaS space. Our client offers an exceptional working environment, including a 4-day working week and impressive benefits scheme. This role is hybrid remote and based on the outskirts of Cambridge.
The role:
- Embed in our team to deploy successful multi-channel marketing campaigns focused on driving brand awareness, customer engagement, acquisition and retention
- Own a comprehensive calendar of marketing activity spanning the academic year, driving projects through on time and on budget
- Study and understand customer wants and needs to meet customer expectations
- Partner closely with the Product Manager to define value propositions across existing and future products
- Identify new opportunities, trends and content opportunities that will drive product adoption and advocacy
- Drive brand awareness and educate customers on our activities, products and solutions
- Develop and execute activities to enhance customer experience at every point of their journey
- Work with key team members including our; Event Manager, Community Manager, Digital Marketing Manager and Head of Sales to ensure our presence, voice and activity is in line with marketing objectives, leveraging customer interaction and ensuring consistency of messaging
- Liaise with the internal team of designers, web developers and social media experts, plus external agencies to implement marketing campaigns
- Write and create content for various purposes, including website, print, blogs and more
- Provide advice and guidance to colleagues within our organisation to support wider business objectives in areas of expertise
- Collaborate with wider teams to further define and expand the scope of existing opportunities
Experience we are looking for:
- Previous and demonstrable product marketing experience
- Demonstrable experience in a start-up/scale-up environment, supporting a product and team in their infancy
- Proven experience in a B2C environment, preferably technology-focused
- Experience working within education and/or security is an advantage
- The ability to create and deliver ideas that complement the company’s objectives
- Ability to deliver high-quality work against defined objectives and deadlines
- Strong listening and communication skills with the ability to collaborate andbuild positive relationships internally and externally
- A great team player, capable of working closely with different people and organisations to achieve objectives
- Self-motivation with the confidence and enthusiasm to take the initiative and get things done
- Ability to prioritise workflow
- Demonstrable experience with core marketing competencies and practices
