Head Teacher of PSHE , you will play a pivotal role in shaping our PSHE curriculum, fostering a safe and supportive learning environment, and promoting the well-being of our school community.
Responsibilities: - Lead the development and implementation of a comprehensive PSHE curriculum that addresses the physical, social, and emotional needs of students.
- Provide strategic leadership and direction for PSHE education across the school, ensuring alignment with statutory requirements and best practices.
- Collaborate with staff, students, parents, and external agencies to deliver effective PSHE programs and initiatives that meet the diverse needs of our school community.
- Monitor and evaluate the impact of PSHE provision on student well-being, behaviour, and academic achievement, using data to inform continuous improvement.
- Act as a role model and advocate for positive relationships, respect, and inclusivity within the school community, promoting a culture of kindness, empathy, and resilience.
Requirements: - Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, with a background in PSHE education or related field.
- Proven experience leading PSHE provision within a secondary school setting, with a strong understanding of curriculum design, delivery, and assessment.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate staff, students, and parents.
- Knowledge of current legislation, guidance, and best practices related to PSHE education, safeguarding, and child protection.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement in PSHE provision.
