Key Responsibilities of a Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Design and develop special purpose machinery tailored to the unique needs of clients.
- Utilise your expertise in mechanical engineering principles to conceptualise, design, and optimise machinery that meets stringent industry standards.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project delivery, from concept to commissioning.
- Conduct feasibility studies, perform calculations, and create detailed engineering drawings to bring concepts to life.
- Provide technical support and expertise throughout the design and manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements of a Mechanical Design Engineer:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
- 3 years of full time experience in industry
- Proficiency in CAD software- ideally Solidworks and AutoCAD
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
