Are you a creative designer with a keen eye for attention grabbing design? Are you passionate about all things celebrity? If so, this is the role for you. We are looking for an experienced Designer to join our dynamic Magazines and Supplements team. This is an exciting opportunity to support the Art hub in the design and layouts for all of our Magazines including OK!, New Magazine, OK.co.uk and the magazine supplements for the Mirror, Express and Daily Star. We’re looking for fresh ideas and new perspectives from people from a wide range of backgrounds, and we want you to tell us the stories you believe are important from our many communities so we can continue to diversify our content. We are home to the UK and Ireland’s most iconic digital platforms, magazines and newspapers. From the Mirror, Daily Express and OK!, to our regional titles such as the Liverpool Echo, BirminghamLive and the Manchester Evening News (plus lots more), our brands and the stories we cover are as varied as our people. At Reach, not only will you feel better understood, you will also feel you understand other people better too. This role is home based and we are therefore open to candidates based across the UK. What will the role involve? You will work closely with the Art Editor, to design eye catching layouts for all pages of our various print and online magazine brands, as well as our much anticipated Christmas and Royal special editions. You will check final pages, ensuring all designs meet our high standards and any corrections are implemented swiftly. You will design regular pages and features across all weeklies and newspaper supplements. You will attend regular art meetings to pitch and discuss exciting ideas for layouts of features and pages. You will design for our digital brands including events and brand marketing when required. Qualifications: Who are we looking for? You are an experienced designer with a proven track record of working in a fast paced design environment, ideally within magazines/publishing. You are passionate about all things celebrity and have an excellent understanding of our various magazine brands and the differences in their audiences. You have demonstrable experience using Adobe Suite and a strong eye for detail. You are a team player whose enthusiasm knows no bounds and you are bursting with creative ideas for layouts. You can adapt your work to suit various platforms and brands, with a good understanding of the differences between print and digital design. Additional Information: What can we offer you?
