Job description

Our client has over 40 years experience within the manufacturing industry and is the UKs largest stockists and processors of sheet steel. They are currently seeking a Junior Sales Representative to join their busy team in St Leonards, East Sussex.

The ideal candidate will possess demonstrable experience within an office environment, have strong customer service skills as well as a good telephone manner, excellent communication skills and possess proficient IT skills. This role does require a valid Full UK Driving Licence.

As a Junior Sales Representative you will dealing with inbound and outbound calls, assisting customers with all enquiries via phone and email, setting up customers accounts and providing products information to customers. You will be provided with full training to enable you to become a full–time sheet–metal salesperson.

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and qualities:

• Demonstrable experience within an office/sales environment
• Possess strong customer service skills and a good telephone manner
• Have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Have proficient IT skills
• Be a strong team player
• Hold a valid Full UK Driving Licence

Your duties as a Junior Sales Representative will include:

• Assisting customers with all enquiries via phone and email
• Setting up customer accounts
• Providing product information to customers
• Dealing with inbound and outbound calls
• Communicating with management about sales and customer issues
• Assisting the sales office team
• After full training, you would be required to go out on the road to undertake customer visits/meetings

Salary:

• Basic salary of GBP30,000 – GBP35,000 per annum
• + Bonuses once fully trained

Hours:

Monday Friday, 9am 5.30pm
