Drainage Design Specialist

Epsom

£40,000 - £45,000 plus benefits

Our client is a global engineering leader who work on high profile projects in the UK and abroad.

They are seeking a dynamic and talented Drainage Design Engineer who can demonstrate experience working within the drainage sector and who possesses excellent technical skills. Their projects include private developers, water markets, energy, and rail. Knowledge on projects for Highways England and Network Rail would be an advantage.

Are you a strong collaborator who can support teams to deliver on projects, able to undertake a key role in the design of drainage infrastructure, transportation, and developers, with an emphasis on highway drainage including SUDS? They will want to meet you!

Requirements:

• Degree in engineering;
• Good range of experience leading drainage design from concept to completion of projects;
• Experience working on stand-alone schemes or as part of larger multi-discipline schemes;
• Oversee and review production of designs, models, calculations, and drawings to ensure compliance to relevant standards;
• Ability to provide technical assurance of designs.

This is a key role within the business, and you will be expected to focus on business performance and technical reputation, whilst assuming a technical lead role.

Strong client relationship skills are a must – maintaining existing relationships and building new ones, focusing on strategic growth.
