Job Description
The role of Planning Coordinator in Coventry will involve:
- Coordinating between transport planning, sites and drivers.
- Keeping customers informed of progress.
- Managing customer orders.
- Monitoring delays and liaising updating customers.
- Manage queries and issues with customers regarding deliveries.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Planning Coordinator will have:
- An understanding of working in a customer led business.
- Knowledge of a logistics/transport environment.
- The ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Good geographical knowledge.
- Previous experience in Logistics Distribution and Supply Chain.
- Knowledge of SAP and/or Microlise.
- Previous experience working within construction supply chain.
