Job Description
- Leading a team to develop and implement strategic communication plans.
- Coordinating with the marketing team to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- Crafting compelling narratives to effectively communicate the organisation's mission and values.
- Managing all communications channels including PR, social media, and the organisation's website.
- Developing relationships with key media outlets to enhance the organisation's visibility.
- Overseeing crisis management and response strategies.
- Ensuring all communications are in line with the organisation's brand and values.
- Monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of communication strategies.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Communications Manager should have:
- A degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations or a related field.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a large matrix environment.
- Knowledge or background in estates/facilities/project focused communications.
- Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage a team.
- Exceptional writing and editing skills.
- Proficiency in digital marketing techniques and social media platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship building skills.
- Ability to work creatively and innovatively within a budget.
- Excellent organisational and project management skills.
