Our client is urgently seeking a highly skilled Infrastructure and Security Engineer to join our dynamic team supporting Internal IT, Cloud Services and the wider business.
This role is pivotal in ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our company's technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in systems administration, network architecture, and cybersecurity practices to safeguard our digital assets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and build new and existing solutions within the companies Cloud Services infrastructure estate.
- Monitor and maintain various infrastructure and security toolsets such as Firewalls, load balancers, Switches, NDR, EDR/AV, web and email gateways, etc., ensuring their operational functionality and optimal configurations.
- Provide support for the data centre infrastructure, ensuring the continuous availability of power, cooling, monitoring, and related aspects.
- Identify vulnerabilities within the companies network infrastructure and data centre environments, implementing measures to enhance security and protect critical IT assets.
- Collaborate with the Head of IT Infrastructure: IT and Security to shape the infrastructure and security technology roadmap.
- Adhere to security best practices and comply with ISO27001 and SOC2 compliance frameworks.
