Job description
This highly reputable, global retail business, has an opening for a Tax Manager to join the department on a contract basis.
Reporting to the Head of Tax and Senior Tax Manager, you will undertake the following responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the outsourced corporate tax compliance
- Calculation of quarterly tax payments
- Preparation and review of tax disclosures for statutory accounts
- Assist with forecasting and budgeting the cash tax and ETR numbers
- Lend support to the team in feeding into the design considerations and set up of S4 Hanna ERP
- Assisting with provision of ad hoc tax advice to the business
This position will be based in London or Manchester and suitable candidates will be looking to work on a 3-day a week basis.
The ideal candidate will have in depth knowledge of direct taxes, proficieny in managing multiple priorities and fast-moving projects and the ability to effectively network and partner with multiple stakeholders within the business. Curiosity and a strong desire for personal and professional development will be key for this role.
