Teaching Assistant - about the role

A mainstream primary school based in the London borough of Haringey has an opening for an experienced teaching assistant to join the school on a full-time contract to start ASAP.

The successful Teaching Assistant will be working in a Year 5 class. You will be expected to work alongside the class teacher and help support them raise attainment and help the pupils catch up after the previous six months off.

The ideal candidate will have atleast an academic year's experience within primary education however this is not essential. Candidates with a degree in English and Maths will also be welcomed.
