JOB DESCRIPTION
Part-time Personal Assistant A LITTLE ABOUT MYSELF I am a 15 year old boy living in the Brynna, Pontyclun area. I enjoy trampolining, walking and going to the park. I would like a PA that can support me to access activities in the community. I have a diagnosis of ASD and can display challenging behaviours. I am also non-verbal. PURPOSE OF JOB The main purpose of the job is to take me places I enjoy, whilst ensuring my safety at all times. Also, the time we spend together will provide my family with some respite HOURS OF WORK 3 hours per week To be worked after school from about 4pm. RATES OF PAY £12.00 per hour plus some mileage for journeys we make together in your car TASKS INVOLVED · Accompanying me to activities I enjoy and participating where appropriate · Joining me for walks in my local area · Ensuring my safety is priority at all times TYPE OF PERSON REQUIRED · Someone outgoing and confident · Someone who is flexible and reliable · Someone who can suggest new things for me to get involved in · PA to be a sensible car driver, with own vehicle and business class insurance in place ABOUT THE JOB Though a part-time job, this will be a proper job requiring a National Insurance number to be submitted. A trial period will be necessary in the first instance. The wage will be paid on a monthly basis and appropriate holiday pay given. The post is subject to satisfactory references and a DBS (Police) Check - which will need to be carried out before employment can commence. The cost of this will be met by the Local Authority. The relevant checks will be carried out to ensure any applicant has the right to work in the UK.Job tags
