Job description
We are seeking enthusiastic and committed individuals to join the Board of Trustees of Swindon Food Collective, the local food bank supporting people who are struggling to provide food for themselves and their families.
What will you be doing?We are an independent charity serving people in Swindon and surrounding areas who are experiencing financial hardship and struggling to provide food for themselves, their families or dependants. Increasing numbers of people are relying on us in the current cost of living crisis, and the Board of Trustees works collaboratively with our dedicated staff members and volunteers to ensure that our operations continue to meet their needs now and in the future.
The Role
Along with your fellow Trustees, you will:
Beyond preparation and attendance at planned Board meetings (currently monthly), you may be called on to participate in specific sub-committees, ad hoc projects or advising on operational or other issues in which you have special expertise.
