Job description
LAW Absolute are working with a local authority based in South London who are seeking an Adult Social Care/Community Care Lawyer for three months initially. The client requires someone able to start in the next three weeks’. This is a full time position, 5 days per week.
The successful Adult Social Care Lawyer will be required to support the Senior and Principal Lawyers in ensuring a high quality service. You will advise on the full remit of Adult Social Care work to include: mental health, community care, court of protection, judicial review, no recourse to public finds. You will also provide an advisory, litigation and advocacy service.
Our client is open to candidates from both the public and private sector that possess the requisite experience and have covered the full remit of work mentioned above. Previous local government experience would be highly advantageous.
It is essential you have a current practising certificate to be considered for the role.
This is a hybrid working role. Our client is unable to consider candidates seeking compressed hours due to business need.
