Job description
Job Title: Auditor
Location: Chester
Duration: 12 Months
Hybrid working 2 - 3 days in the office.
We are looking for experienced auditor or qualified accountant with previous internal or external audit experience.
Day to day responsibilities:
- The role involves supporting the delivery of internal audits as part of the EMEA Enterprise Control Function Corporate Audit team.
- The role involves working as an individual contributor and as part of a team on audits that are typically regional in nature, reviewing processes, risks and controls and performing independent testing.
- Perform high-quality audit test execution.
- Clearly and accurately document the execution of specific audit procedures as defined by the projects' objectives and planned audit approach.
- Engage with business stakeholders to agree on potential issues / control gaps.
Requirements:
- Qualified / part qualified accountant or experienced Auditor (internal or external) preferably with experience of financial audits or financial services.
- Ability to work in remote teams and execute and document assigned work to high quality standards and timeframes.
- Good written and presentation skills
- Stakeholder mgt skills
- Ability to demonstrate critical thinking, analytical skills and professional judgement to influence business partners, management and peers.
- Demonstrate professionalism and competence.
