Job description

At Blue Arrow we are looking for HGV Class 1 Drivers on a temporary basis for up coming client sickness and holiday cover.

Opportunities for ongoing work are available for the right candidates as we get closer to busier periods for specific clients.

Pay rates are as follows:

Dayshift - £13.00ph

Nightshift - £15.50ph

Enhancements available for ADR and weekend work.

Start times vary as the client has day, back and night shift work.

Work includes local business to business deliveries as well as more distance runs.

Availability of work runs Monday - Sunday with weekend work being booked depending on customer volumes.

Main Duties/Responsibilities

As a LGV Category C+E Driver you will:

* Complete pre departure vehicle checks
* Transport goods between planned sites and drops
* Complete paperwork and follow compliance
* Adhere to tachograph and working times rules

Qualifications

In order to process your application, you must have the following:

* HGV Class 1 entitlement
* CPC
* Digi tacho card

We cannot accept more than 6 points or DR on a licence.

Additionally we are looking for drivers with 6 months + experience to meet our clients expectations.
