Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for temp to perm Hygiene Operatives to join working for a nationally recognised company based in Dartford. As a hygiene colleague you will be working both alone and as part of a team with efficiency and commitment to complete your work and strive to maintain the business performance targets.

Shifts:

6 AM -2 PM or 2 PM -10PM

40 hour working week. This position includes some weekend working, including bank holidays as the depot operates 24/7 therefore, it is essential that you are flexible in your approach to work.

Pay rate:

AM 10.60 per hour increasing after 12 weeks of working with us to 10.92 p/h, OT 14.10 p/h

PM 11.10 per hour increasing after 12 weeks of working with us to 11.39 p/h. OT 14.76 p/h

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Card and shrink-wrap collection and bailing of. (all training will be given)
• Use of ride on scrubber
• V sweep bays, aisles and internal perimeter
• Clearing of rubbish emptying bins in all areas
• Hub cleaning including toilets, windows, tables and floors, door cleaning
• Display area cleaning

Office cleaning duties which include gatehouse are:

• Hovering all carpeted areas
• Spot cleaning with the carpet cleaner
• Hard surface cleaning (tables, chairs, window ledge)
• Door and handle cleaning
• Back and front stairwell cleaning all corners and window ledges, handrails
• Full toilet clean
• Full canteen clean, including microwaves, fridge, basin, all hard services (tables, chairs, window ledges, leisure tables and accessories bin clearance, hoovering and spot cleaning carpeted areas)
• Full ground floor clean includes shower cubicles, locker room, ground floor offices (carpets, all surfaces, window ledges and doors) toilets.
• Reception area and drivers walk through
• Display area cleaning

They will be working any 5 out of 7 days on a rotating shift pattern this includes weekends.
