Job description
Your role will include providing support to children and their families under supervision of the registered nursing team. Taking and recording of temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height and weight on instruction from the RN. Recording the results appropriately and reporting any abnormalities to the RN or Nurse in Charge.Taking and recording of temperature, pulse, respirations, blood pressure, height and weight on instruction from the RN. Under the supervision of the RN, support patients undergoing clinical procedures ensuring their comfort and safety To restock departmental areas as required reporting any shortages to the NiC/Ward Manager. Using IT systems as required Supervision of the young person admitted with a mental health disorder. To adhere to the policy for the Control of Infection. To maintain the confidentiality of information about patients, staff and other health service business. To participate in quality assurance programmes as required. To participate in the promotion of a positive learning environment and to act as a role model at all times. To be aware of and contribute to Clinical Governance arrangements/issues for area of work.
