Cover Supervisor (SEMH Knowledge essential)
Location: Grantham
Salary: £110 - £150 per day
Start Date: Immediate Start Required
GSL Education Lincolnshire is currently seeking a dedicated
SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Cover Supervisor for one of our reputable SEN (Special Educational Needs) client schools in the
Grantham region. The suitable candidate must have SEMH knowledge and should be able to start working with SEN children’s immediately after recruitment.
Responsibilities may include: - Collaborate with teachers to guarantee student well-being and success.
- Provide support and supervision to students with SEMH needs.
- Foster a happy and inclusive learning atmosphere.
- Implement and follow the school's behavioural management strategies.
Requirements: - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Have an enhanced DBS (child workforce) registered on the Update Service or be willing to apply for one through GSL Education.
- Ability to adapt to the dynamic needs of the school environment.
- A genuine passion for contributing to the educational and emotional development of students.
- Experience in a similar capacity or significant interest in supporting students with SEMH needs.
- Hold the Right to work in the UK.
Qualifications: - Hold a Level 1/2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification or relevant educational qualifications, training in special education is preferable.
