Job description
Axcis are recruiting experienced SEND teaching assistants to support schools across Birmingham.
The roles will involve working with children on a 1:1 and intervention group basis. You will be required to have experience working in a similar setting. The children will have a range of needs that create challenges for them to successfully access the curriculum. It would be an advantage if you have current restraint training. The successful teaching assistants will be required to work in a range of year groups. These roles would be ideal for anyone looking to extend their skills in working with children ahead of teacher training. Teaching assistants provide a range of classroom support which can include teaching groups of children under the direction of a teacher. The roles will involve supporting groups and individuals with special educational needs and implementing 'next step plans'. TAs supervise classes for EYFS, KS1 & KS2. TAs may also be required to assist with lunchtime supervision.Job tags
