Job description
Dental Nurse
We are currently seeking a full-time qualified head Dental Nurse to join our team in Tiverton.
As a head dental nurse, you will play a vital role in assisting the dentist during dental procedures, providing patient care, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. Your knowledge of dental anatomy and your ability to take and develop x-rays will be essential in providing quality care to our patients.

As a Dental Nurse, your role will include:
- Supporting clinicians in delivering a full range of high-quality dental treatments
- Providing patient care
- Maintaining an excellent relationship with your nursing team and other departments within the business
- Ordering and maintaining stock levels whilst working to a budget
- Monthly compliance tasks and completion of audits and required logs
- Oversee and monitor the training of new/trainee nurses
- manage equipment repairs and routine servicing
- oversee staff rotas and diary management
- Help to ensure a smooth running of your surgery and practice
