We are looking for a dedicated individual to join us as a Trainee Commis Chef. You will be reporting to the Head Chef and assisting the team with various meal preparations and the general day to day kitchen operations. You should be able to work at flexible shifts. .

Responsibilities

• To manage the smooth running of your section before, during and after service.
• To ensure all food being served to guests and staff is prepared to the outlined company standards.
• To ensure stock rotation carried out correctly and wastage recorded.
• To adhere to HACCP/COSHH standards.
• To carry out cleaning schedules and record on a daily basis.
• To carry out temperature readings and record on a daily basis.

Desirable Skills

• Ability to work under supervision.
• An understanding of Health & Safety.
• An understanding of basic food hygiene.

Further Information

The Employer is: MCBRIDES ON THE SQUARE. Salary: 16/17 £5.28, 18/20 £7.49, 21/22 £10.18, 23/24 £10.42 per hour. Although this is a part-time temporary opportunity, hours may be extended and it could lead to a permanent position. The job advert may end before the closing date if requested by the employer.
