Job description
Finders Recruitment are currently seeking an Injection Moulding Setter for our client based on the outskirts of Peterborough. Our client is a well established family run business specialising in precision plastic injection mouldings.
Shift Pattern:
Monday to Friday on a 2-weekly rotating shift pattern.
- 07:00 to 15:00
- 15:00 to 23:00
- 23:00 to 07:00
30-minute paid break included, totalling 40 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate moulding machines in line with production plan, ensuring optimal machine utilization.
- Update ThingTrax system to track machine status and performance.
- Perform tool changes efficiently to meet production targets.
- Address quality issues and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain clean, safe work areas and adhere to health and safety protocols.
- Collaborate with management on operational improvements and training needs.
Health and Safety:
- Follow Health and Safety legislation and report any incidents or hazards.
- Wear and maintain provided protective equipment.
- Keep work areas clean, tidy, and hazard-free.
Development:
- Assist in training new employees and identify personal development areas.
- Strive for continuous improvement in performance and operational efficiency.
