Location: Newark-on-Trent

Salary: £30,000

Due to an extended period of exponential growth, we are looking for an additional Junior CAD Draughtsman to join our team.

About The Junior CAD Draughtsman Role

You will be responsible for developing and contributing to our bespoke design solutions mechanically across the business.

The Junior CAD Draughtsman will be responsible for:

• Create diverse drawings using 2D CAD or 3D CAD.
• Apply design for manufacture principles and generate diagrams and Bill of Materials.
• Manage technical files, collaborate with Project Managers for issue resolution.
• Identify equipment parts prioritizing approved products when possible.
• Transmit complete Bill of Materials for project support.
• Maintain drawings in line with Quality Management System standards.
• Implement industry best practices for configuration management across the product range.
• Deliver information in a sequence and timeframe aligned with Production needs.
• Develop skill frameworks and individual training plans for the Draughting team.
• Provide design assistance to manufacturing, sales, and R&D departments.
• Undertake other reasonable tasks as requested by Company Management.

A successful Junior CAD Draughtsman will need:

• Mechanical Engineering Apprenticeship, HNC/HND, or BEng/MEng in Engineering.
• 1+ years' experience in mechanical design or CAD drawing.
• Keen attitude and willingness to learn.
• Clean Driving License.
