Lead Software Engineer

Location: Hybrid Working in Belfast

Role Overview: As the Development Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of 4-5 members, driving the development of innovative software solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in backend technologies (ideally Node j.s. but other are wlecome), and professional experience with SQL databases, with a bonus for knowledge of NoSQL databases like MongoDB. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and mentor a development team, ensuring high-quality software delivery.
• Drive the development and implementation of solutions using Node.js and React.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project goals and deliverables.
• Utilize professional experience with SQL databases, and ideally, NoSQL databases such as MongoDB.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in leading development teams, preferably in Node.js and React but other technologies are welcome.
• Solid knowledge and professional experience with SQL databases.
• Bonus: Familiarity with NoSQL databases, especially MongoDB.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
