Job Description
- Build and manage a, portfolio of corporate customers in the Scarborough branch
- Completion of credit applications and credit annual reviews in line with the Bank's Credit Policy
- Interpretation of financial information provided by customers to evaluate lending propositions, assess and formulate risk ratings accurately and structure transactions
- Ensure the right customer selection by evaluating all risks involved
- Develop and maintain a sound understanding of the local market, and maintain relationships with professional firms and introducers
- Implementing strategic initiatives to drive growth of the unit alongside the Branch Manager
- Ensuring compliance with banking regulations and company policies
- Collaborating with the branch team to enhance customer service and product offerings
- Managing risk and ensuring the profitability of the branch
- Providing support and credit risk advice to the banking team
- Participate in business development activities to attract new clients.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Banking Manager should have:
- A degree in Finance, Business, or a related field
- In-depth understanding of credit risk analysis
- Working knowledge within the retail banking sector
- Understanding of the local region and prior experience with corporate customers
- Proven experience in a managerial role within the banking sector
- Strong knowledge of banking regulations and corporate banking products
- Exceptional leadership and relationship-building skills
- Excellent strategic planning and implementation abilities
