Job description

Do you have strong technical skills and experience in plumbing and heating? Are you keen to pass on your skills to new and experienced gas professionals seeking the appropriate certification for their business? This is a chance to join our regionally leading team of industry trainers with support offered to help you develop the skills you need to deliver the role.
Suffolk New College has an established and highly respected Gas Centre providing technical training for industry certification. This role will suit people with up-to-date Gas qualifications and knowledge of current industry standards with a passion for teaching and training.

The role will suit individuals who are keen to work flexibly, and is open on a contract basis to self-employed individuals or on a flexible contract basis, subject to discussion. Please do not hesitate to get in contact with Lucy Emms at [email protected] for an informal discussion.

While experienced trainers are welcome to apply, we also welcome applications from people with the right knowledge who want to develop their training skills with bespoke support through our License to Industry Expert programme, provided free of charge.

We are also currently recruiting for an Industry Trainer for our Net Zero Skills Centre to deliver Heat Pump training so if you are interested in a dual role, please do get in touch to find out more.

Casual or contracted hours available. Salary within the range of £26,367 to £39,876 per annum, pro-rata.
