Job Description
Purpose of the role:
The DRIVE programme is a multi-year initiative to rollout Dynamics365 FinOps & CE modules to Rotork factories and selling entities globally.
To lead the DRIVE training programme as an essential part of the successful implementation of Dynamics365 and its associated business processes. The role is accountable to the DRIVE Programme Managers and will work, on a day-to-day basis, with the Implementation Manager for that Site or Country.
Key to this role is the ability to develop and deliver the DRIVE Training Strategy globally, understanding the diversity of need across Rotork and tailoring the approach as required. This role will be required to manage the delivery multiple streams of training and its associated resource, ranging from supporting resilience during change to technical system usage.
Key Responsibilities and Outcomes:
- To carry out Training Needs Analysis for DRIVE building on intelligence from Change Impact Assessments and stakeholder analysis
- To develop the DRIVE Training Strategy, aligned with the Rotork Talent Development Team Strategy, identifying key objectives, training approaches and resources available within the Programme.
- To develop the Factory or Selling Entity training plan for inclusion within the overall implementation plan for that site or country. This will determine the training need, approach and delivery methods tailored to the needs of the individuals undergoing the change
- To manage the delivery of the training plans, ensuring suitable skilled resource (including a training delivery partner) is available to carry out the training activities required and identify opportunities for reuse or building upon existing Learning and Development resources
- Delivery of training as required and as time allows.
- To input to Change Impact Assessments and stakeholder analysis activities
- To resolve escalations or issues which threaten delivery of the training plans and strategy, with support from Programme Managers and governance as required
- To use training subject matter expertise to ensure training products are of high quality and ready for business approval
- To ensure all training complies with corporate standards and is administered via the learning@rotork LMS (Learning Management System)
- Helping to support the development of training resource involved in the programme
- Work collaboratively with the Programme Team and the Rotork Learning and Development Team
Qualifications
Essential
- Strong background and proven experience in designing and leading training strategy and delivery, including the assessment of training needs
- In-depth knowledge of traditional and modern training methods
- Ability to work closely with the business to translate business needs into tangible learning solutions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and leadership skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Ability to influence, negotiate, and persuade others to achieve strategic alignment
- Ability to achieve results through matrix management of global resource
- Demonstrated ability to motivate teams
- Experience of using a learning management system for standards, control, and compliance
- Ability to travel in the UK and internationally as required
