EV Supervisor
Nationwide (Remote and travel)
About Providor
Providor Ltd is a subsidiary of Sureserve Group and installs domestic smart meters across the UK, working directly for a number of energy suppliers. Meter asset managing services are also provided for some clients.
Overview:
- Liaise with office staff and engineers, provide first line advice and support for all technical queries.
- Complete remote & onsite auditing to ensure compliance standards are maintained.
- Review, approve and submit all certification completed by engineers. Finalise certificates and notify building regulations via the NAPIT Portal daily.
- Installation, Exchange, Maintenance and Removal of Electric Vehicle Supply Equipment (EVSE).
- Provide quotations, estimates and complete site surveys when needed.
- Control and maintain engineer training and future development.
- Carry out weekly ‘ToolBox’ talks with the engineers
Qualifications and Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years experience required in a similar role
- 2330 – Level 2 & 3 in Electrical Installation (or Equivalent).
- 2356 – NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or Equivalent).
- 2382 - 18th Edition Level 3 Award in the Requirements for Electrical Installations BS7671:2018 (or Equivalent).
- 2391 – C&G Inspection and Testing (or Equivalent 2394 and 2395).
- 2919 – Level 3 Award in Commercial and Domestic, Industrial Electric Vehicle Charging Equipment Installation.
Responsibilities :
- Ensure compliance standards are being maintained across the EV business.
- Offer advice and guidance to engineers.
- Carry out auditing using different systems to record defects and arrange for remedial works.
- To carry out installs, exchanges, maintenance, and removals as per the relevant method statement (in line with Company and Industry standards)
- To review, complete and finalise all electrical work carried out.
- Stay up to date on all new EVSE and current regulations to be able to pass new knowledge on to the engineers out in the field via ToolBox talks.
- To help ensure service level agreements (SLA’s) are achieved for works allocated.
- Alterations and new circuits to domestic properties.
- Respond to emergency call outs, complaint calls as the business needs dictate.
- To ensure the efficient recording of all works completed or aborted.
- To risk assess work/working environments before starting any works to avoid damages or injuries.
- To undertake all work in accordance with Health and Safety regulations.
- Report H&S issues encountered in line with Company policy.
- A duty of care to ensure any potential risks encountered because of your visit are reported in line with industry guidelines, legal requirements & Company policy.
