We are currently seeking a Body Shop/Collision Manager for our CSN Formula location who takes pride in motivating and leading a team to achievement. This individual will be reporting to the Collision Operations Manager.
Responsibilities:
- Manage a high-performance Body Shop Department team
- Promote methods for improving and maintaining employee happiness, motivation, and well-being
- Responsible for ensuring profitability of the Body Shop department
- Ongoing collaboration and communication with other department leaders
- Planning and executing objectives, goals and growth strategies
- Maintain accurate repair order flow to satisfy shop and customer requirements
- Oversee all aspects of the repair process, ensuring that work is completed to industry standards and meets customer satisfaction goals.
- Perform quality inspections and implement corrective actions when necessary
- Supporting and motivating team members, developing a positive work environment
- Assigning and monitoring job tasks and providing overall support to technicians, and other shop employees
- Manage and schedule the current capacity of repair, maintenance, refurbishment bays, service equipment, and tools for optimal use
- Prepare and present regular reports on department performance, including key performance indicators (KPIs), to senior management
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships by addressing customer concerns and ensuring a positive repair experience. Resolve any service-related issues promptly and professionally
Required Qualifications:
- Previous leadership and managerial experience retail within an automotive dealership required
- Previous experience working in a collision center required
- Strong knowledge of heavy-duty vehicle/equipment preventative maintenance, refurbishment, and repair practices and procedures
- Post-Secondary Education Preferred
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Valid driver’s license
