PA to Headteacher & Cover Manager | Waltham Forest
£31,067 - £34,031 per year, Permanent, March 2024 start Are you a school professional looking with experience in administration and looking to develop into a PA role?
Then this is a brilliant opportunity to take on the responsibility for the provision of secretarial, and personnel support for the Head and other members of the Leadership Team at an exceptional school based within an academy trust in Waltham Forest. You will also be in control of managing cover to ensure all lessons are covered in the absence of a member of staff and raising the public image of the school and provide a welcoming, courteous reception to all school visitors.
As a PA to Headteacher & Cover Manager you will be integral in supporting the Headteacher and so your work will have a direct contribution to the quality of education that the students receive!
PA to Headteacher & Cover Manager Job Summary: - Provision of general and confidential clerical service to the Head.
- Opening, sorting, and prioritising the Head’s correspondence, copying relevant information to Senior Leaders and other staff as required.
- Management of cover - ensure all lessons are covered in the absence of a member of staff.
- Ensuring personnel procedures are followed and records are kept up to date
PA to Headteacher & Cover Manager Requirements: - At least two years’ experience of school administration is essential.
- Ability to work in a high-performing team.
- Highly efficient, methodical and reliable.
- Personal qualities which enable successful relationships to be built with students, colleagues, parents, governors.
