Allocations Officer (Accounts Receivable)

Creative Support

Location

Stockport, Greater Manchester | United Kingdom

Job description

We are a large national charity with our Head office based in Stockport, looking for a highly motivated Allocations Officer to work in our fast paced and friendly Finance Department. You will be working across a number of teams to develop and implement solutions to effectively and accurately identify and allocate receipts in our Accounts Receivable accounting process.

This would be a great opportunity for an individual with previous allocations experience, to take on a role with the potential to influence and develop processes and contribute to improvements across a number of teams.

You will be responsible for ensuring that receipts are correctly identified and accurately processed on our sales ledger system, and you will run a caseload of allocations on more complex sales ledger accounts.

You will need to be well organised, hard-working and flexible as this is a fast paced and challenging role, dealing with a variety of income streams and evolving online portal systems being implemented by Local Authorities. You will be able to work independently, manage your own workload and respond flexibly to the needs of the team and the wider organisation. You will be IT proficient with particularly emphasis on MS Excel, with excellent written/verbal communication skills.
