Job description

> Flexible part time Nanny required for a Mum in Crawley with 2 children G9 & B5
> Mum is a pilot and works shifts on a part time basis 3 days a week on a Monday-Wednesday or Sunday-Tuesday and one Thursday a month
> She is looking for a 3 days a week Nanny, Sunday-Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday depending on her shift pattern and can offer the Thursday once a month if Nanny wants it but this is not essential as she can cover if the Nanny has another job on the Thursday & or Friday
> Her working pattern is known the month before and on those 3 working days she may fly each day or be on standby and not fly which means as a Nanny you may have the children all the 3 days, some of the days or not all the days but would still be paid a retainer if not actually required
> She typically bids to work early shifts meaning she would start before 5am so on those early ones the current Nanny comes in late the night before and stays over so she can get the children up and off to school although you don't have to do that you can just arrive when required
> There is a dedicated room in the house for the Nanny if you would like to use it
> The role is standard Nanny duties to include being emergency contact for the day on school days when Mum is flying
> The role is 12 or if the Thursday is included once a month, 13 days a month. Mum pays a £50 per day retainer for each of the 12 or 13 days regardless of whether you actually work (£600/£650 per month confirmed) and then an additional £5 per hour for any hours you do work. This averages to within the Nanny salary range (based on the amount of monthly hours you will work) as some days are longer and some less hours but you will always receive the £50 per day irrelevant and then additional hourly pay on top. She also pays £25 for overnight stays if required
> The children attend Milton Mount Primary School, a short walk from home
> Regards holiday you will always receive 5-6 weeks paid holiday per year and any bank holidays worked will always be given back to the Nanny as extra holiday
> You need to be reliable, mature, sensible and responsible and ideally fairly local to Crawley
> Start date is flexible from April onwards
> £ salary as per description above so £600 or £650 per month guaranteed + hourly rate for hours worked (Usual salary is in region of £1000 p/m)
> The are a very fun, active, playful, loving family. They would love a caring, empathetic, kind Nanny who can be firm and measured and who loves to join in and play. They love to be outside cycling, on the trampoline and just running around
> This is a wonderful job for someone looking for a part time job where they will also not always work on work days but will also be a huge support to Mum who is away from the UK on her work days and needs that trust and faith in her Nanny
