Job description

The Operations Director will be responsible for end-to-end operational activity across the business. This will include production, supply chain, design, quality, process improvement and EHS. Sitting on the company's Board, this role will develop the big picture strategy to support wider business goals, as well as being a highly present figure on the shop floor to listen, engage and support the team to optimise shop floor processes.This role requires someone who is capable of supporting their direct reports (departmental managers) and the whole shop floor team to resolve any day-to-day tactical issues, while simultaneously looking for process improvement opportunities and also working directly with the company's owners to determine the longer-term strategy.As the company anticipates a period of strong growth ahead, this position will be critical to that success: putting in place the foundations to support the growth and playing a key leadership role in steering the company to achieve it.
