Sales Manager - Stainless Steel Products; Metric Stainless-Steel Tubes, Fittings and Value-Added Services

Based: Northwest

Area Covered: UK

Package: £40,000-£50,000, Very Strong Bonus, Car Allowance, Pension, Private Medical Insurance, 25 Days Holidays plus Statutory Days

An exciting opportunity has arisen with one of our clients for a Sales Manager - Stainless Steel Products; Metric Stainless-Steel Tubes, Fittings and Value-Added Services selling across the UK.

The company have a fantastic stock profile, are very proactive as a business and are part of a multi-million-pound group who set the standards within the market with their exceptional and wide-ranging product range and on-time delivery service.

The ideal candidate will have strong Sales, Business Development or ideally Sales Management experience in Stainless Steel Tubes and Fittings, failing that they will consider applicants with experience of selling Stainless Steel or Stainless-Steel products, they may also consider candidates with experience in Other Types of Steel or simply applicants with experience in Multi Metals Distribution.

As a Sales Manager you will have full responsibilities for an internal Sales Team consisting of 3 people and you will also be responsible for the entire sales budget. You will be measured on your ability to manage the team, the overall team performance and ultimately, profit made by the team. They will also look at new accounts developed, dormant accounts reopened and the overall development of the team along with how you integrate yourself into the wider business and group.

You will collaborate with a customer base of clients in the utilities sector, the paper and pulp industry, the water treatment market, aerospace and defence, the architectural industry, infrastructure and numerous others so specific experience in these specialist areas would be very advantageous.

The ideal candidate must have strong Sales, Business Development or ideally Sales Management experience in Stainless Steel Tubes and Fittings, Stainless Steel or Stainless-Steel products, Other Types of Steel or in Multi Metals Distribution.

They are looking for candidates who bring a real drive and hunger to the business, are hardworking, committed and have the right values. They want someone who is confident, personable, very much a leader who is prepared to have the tough and difficult conversations that are needed from time to time.
