We’re looking for a
Site Manager to manage the safe and profitabledelivery of allocated Arc Construction Services projects on-site and to be aneffective member of the Arc Project Team with particular responsibility for themanagement of resources and supply chain on-site. The Site Manager will manageand coordinate projects from the start through to completion, ensuring thatwork is completed to time, quality, within budget and within scope.

- Contribute to, develop, manage and deliver the site delivery plans foryour allocated projects to ensure that they are delivered within the agreedprogramme and achieve the desired outcomes
- Ensure that delivery plans / programmes are provided for allocated sitesand that they are actively monitored and managed
- Oversee day to day management of operations on-site, ensuring that theproject is brought to a successful completion and meets the programme, budget,brief and quality constraints.
- Effectively communicate with the Design Team to ensure the timely releaseof design information.
- Ensure that sites are proactively managed in a safe manner in accordancewith the Arc Health and Safety procedures, and agree the requirements formanaging multiple sites operating in parallel to each other
- Understand and take an active interest in the commercial outcomes of theproject by close working with the QS to ensure that costs and the supply chainare adequately controlled
- Ensure that all aspects of the project are carried out in accordance withstatutory requirements.
- Make safety inspections and ensure construction and site safety.
- Plan and efficiently organise the site set up and logistics.
- Where appropriate follow the business templates for using NEC contractualforms and trackers with the Project team so that the information flow and anychanges are managed efficiently
What you’ll bring:
We’re looking for people who want to drive change and make a significantdifference by contributing to the aims of our diverse and inclusiveorganisation. In addition, you will ideally have:
- Proven experience of managing a project delivery function on sitewithin a construction contracting business
- A broad understanding of the design process and the challenges toget a project to site
- CIOB Level 4 Certificate in Construction Site Management orequivalent
- Broad demonstrable knowledge of NEC forms in the context of changecontrol on site and the provision of project clarifications with thedesign team and subcontractors
- Strong construction, commercial, and supply-chain management skills
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to effectivelypresent technical information, present arguments to influence and persuadeaudiences with different backgrounds and levels of understanding
