Our client, a well established Accountancy Practice based in Newry, is currently seeking a Practice Manager to join their team.

This is an excellent opportunity for a driven Practice Manager to join a thriving Practice and play a pivotal role in the team. The Practice Manager will have strong leadership skills and a background in accountancy.

The Role:

• Oversee day-to-day operations of the accountancy practice, ensuring smooth and efficient functioning
• Manage a team of professionals, providing leadership, guidance, and support
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance the practice's performance and growth
• Monitor financial performance, prepare budgets, and analyse financial data
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards
• Foster strong client relationships and identify opportunities for business development

The Person :

• Proven experience in a managerial role within an accountancy or financial setting
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Sound knowledge of financial principles, regulations, and practices
• Proficiency in relevant software and tools (e.g., accounting software, Microsoft Office)
• Relevant qualifications in accountancy would be preferred
