Hills Quarry Products is looking for a Health & Safety Support Manager to join our existing team based in Swindon . You will join us on a full time, permanent basis and in return, you will receive a competitive salary of £49,612.50 per annum alongside a great range of benefits, including:

About the role:

As our Health & Safety Support Manager , you will plan, lead, and organise compliance activities in accordance with board objectives. You will be part of the senior management team reporting to the board director and oversee the divisional health and safety management system and procedures.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Oversee and be responsible for the divisional health and safety management systems and procedures.
• Assist the operations management team to implement and maintain health and safety systems and procedures.
• Plan and coordinate health and safety training for operations staff as deemed appropriate to achieve the required health and safety standards.
• Provide monthly compliance report to the Group Director.
• Develop Hills culture and build strong, credible relationships with managers.
• Mentor and develop the operational team’s health and safety performance, aiming for outstanding service delivery and customer service.
• Working alongside the operational management team to review any internal or external health and safety audits or compliance issues to ensure any non-compliances are addressed.

• A commitment to health and safety with a professional and proactive approach
• Excellent communications skills and be able to support across all levels of the business
• A NEBOSH Diploma level qualification
• Proven ability to work collaboratively at a site level in a fast-paced environment whilst adding value and delivering quality standards
• Excellent attention to detail and the ability to bring a logical and methodical approach
• A willingness to develop and pursue professional development in the health, safety and environmental field
• Proven experience of working in a similar sector.
