Job Description
The Corporate Solicitor will get involved in a range of work and responsibilities including;
- Advising on UK and cross-border transactions.
- Work on a range of deals from M & A, Private Equity to Equity Capital Markets.
- Support Partners on large complex Corporate transactions.
- Assist with mentoring and managing junior lawyers in the team.
- Actively get involved in business development and events.
- Participate in client meetings and manage relationships.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve desired outcomes.
- Contribute to the overall success of the firm by delivering excellent client service.
The Successful Applicant
The successful Corporate Solicitor should have:
- Trained with a reputable law firm and practised in Corporate for a minimum of 2 years.
- Strong academics.
- Ties to Sheffield.
- Excellent negotiation and contract drafting skills.
- The ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- Outstanding communication skills, both written and verbal.
