Job description
Really ambitious Edinburgh based AI Tech Start-up, that’s financially flush, are looking to build out their Engineering squad with a few experienced hires, which includes an experienced Software Engineer with strong Python skills.
They’ve been running for just over a year now and have managed to complete a couple of critical projects – they’ve seen a real gap in the market for their product and they’ve gained a lot of attention already. They’ve had a really successful seed campaign and as a result are looking to build out their Engineering function.
The company is led by really ambitious and clever hands-on founders, that all come with a strong background in the Data world . They’ve already brought on an experienced Machine Learning Engineer and a Software Engineer that have developed a working MVP. They’re now looking to transform this into a really scalable enterprise level product for a range of different business sectors.
One of their most critical hires is for an experienced Software Engineer that can help the team transform this product. They’re looking for someone that is able to come in and get to grips with the current system quickly, suggest and implement technologies that will help the product from a scaling , performance and quality perspective. It will be a technically challenging role , and they’re pretty upfront about that.
You’ll ideally have good experience with the following;
** Python
** AWS
** Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraforms)
** Working within a start-up product environment
The following is highly desirable;
** ReactJS + TypeScript
** Experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence
** Experience with algorithms
Their offices are based in central Edinburgh, a short walk from Haymarket, where the team work largely onsite, however they do have some flex on this. They’re looking for candidates that already based a commutable distance from the offices, however they can help with relocation costs for exceptional candidates.
