We utilise the state-of-the-art equipment with many of our most experienced watchmakers having been trained inhouse before receiving accreditation from our Swiss watchmaking partners.
We are now seeking to add to our amazing team and require a Watch Casing Polisher based within Hockley, Southend, SS5.
Role Summary
This role will support STS watch service centre to achieve the company’s strategy, providing quality control checks to enable our repairs to meet the highest standards.
It will require the successful candidate to have or develop a detailed knowledge of luxury watches, their functions, and tolerances to quality control repairs for our trade and retail customers. The individual should have a fine eye for detail, an ability to communicate and to discuss and impart knowledge would be favourable.
A knowledge of luxury watch brands is desirable, manual dexterity and confident handling watches coupled with examining watch movements will be advantageous. Being a team orientated individual will be essential. Full support and training will be given.
Role Objectives
Refinishing of repairs to a high standard
Ensuring that refinishing of repairs is completed within set time frames
Maintain volume throughout.
Role Responsibilities
Maintaining workflow through Refinishing
Communicating with workshop and quality control to ensure high standards are maintained
Always using the correct techniques and tools to complete the repair
Maintain a safe and clean working environment.
Any other reasonable management request.
Skills and Qualifications
Microsoft office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) or Google suite
Experience polishing and knowledge of associated machinery
Extreme attention to detail
Knowledge of luxury watches and polishing helpful
Excellent communication skills
Self-starter
Good organisational skills
Be able to work to deadlines
Adaptable to multiple roles dependant on business needs.
