Head of Development

Warwick - Hybrid Working Available

£80,000-£100,000 + Discretionary Bonus + Flexibility + Pension + 35 Days Holiday!

Are you a Development Engineer who is looking to take that next step up in their career and progress into a Head of Development role?

On offer is an amazing opportunity for someone to join a leading distributed energy company who are committed to leading us towards a net zero future where you will be able to play a key role in the company's future development and goal of tackling climate change.

Driven by the desire to have a net zero future, this company are at the forefront of developing renewable electrical distribution networks across the UK, enabling the transitions to cleaner energy resources. Due to continued success and an ongoing programme of growth, they are now looking to recruit a Head of Development to join their highly professional team.

In this role the successful candidate will lead the development team to deliver projects and drive performance for the company. They will engage with both internal and external stakeholders and develop new markets for which the business may expand into. There will be a good level of autonomy available in this position, where a candidate will be able to make the role their own.

The ideal candidate will have experience within a development engineering role and hold a relevant engineering degree. They will also have good knowledge of electrical transmission distribution and generation. They will be ambitious, with high energy, and be looking to progress their career forwards. They must be commutable to Warwick a few days a week and be happy to do site visits across the UK.

The Role:

The Person:

* Experience within a development engineering role
* Good knowledge of electrical transmission distribution and generation
* Educated to degree level or equivalent
* Valid UK driving license
* Commutable to Warwick at least a few days a week
