Job Description
- Oversee daily logistics operations for the company
- Ensure compliance with safety and regulatory standards
- Manage relationships with logistics providers and partners
- Develop and implement strategies to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Lead and manage a team, providing guidance and support as needed
- Contribute to the planning and execution of future growth strategies
- Work closely with other departments to ensure smooth operation
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices
The Successful Applicant
A successful Transport Manager should have:
- An International CPC Qualification
- Proven experience in logistics management within a Transport Environment
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and strategic thinking ability
- A commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Good communication and relationship management skills
- Commutable to Devon Daily
