Estimator - Redruth
A fantastic permanent opportunity awaits for an Estimator to join a local property services contractor! This contractor provides a complete range of facilities management services on projects from £50k to £50m. Don't miss out on this unique chance to grow your career and make an impact in the industry. This estimating position would suit a Quantity Surveyor who has estimating experience.
Responsibilities: - Actively monitor tender portals for relevant projects and establish contact
Review and evaluate all tender enquiries for completeness and accuracy - Administrate correspondence and tender documentation throughout the supply chain
- Organise and attend site visits with suppliers and subcontractors
- Obtain pricing in a timely manner to meet with submission deadlines
- Review and evaluate all project costs and provide a complete price submission
- Assess the levels of business risk on each project
- Compile and provide detailed handover information for all successful bids to the operations team
- Monitor the various stages of all successful bids to ensure costs are kept in line with the forecast
- Co-ordinate and manage the bid process from start to finish

Requirements: - Proven experience in a similar position
- JCT and NEC contract awareness
- Construction related qualification
- Relevant driving licence
