Mockingbird, led by The Fostering Network in the UK, delivers sustainable foster care. This exciting programme is currently working with over sixty fostering services across England, Scotland and Wales, and is looking to grow further. Mockingbird is an evidence-based model structured around the support and relationships an extended family provides. The model nurtures the relationships between children, young people and foster families supporting them to build a resilient and caring community.

We are seeking to grow our team of passionate and dynamic Fostering workers. We are looking for a talented and experienced social worker to join our Fostering Service as Liaison Worker (Senior SSW grade). The successful candidate will be instrumental in its development and implementation of the Mockingbird Model as we develop one constellation of carers to begin with.
The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to develop their skills and adopt different ways of working with foster carers in establishing the first Mockingbird hub. This may include developing training courses and learning opportunities for both carers and professionals as well as supervision of the Hub carer and potentially others.
