Job description
Prospero Teaching is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a Pupil Referral Unit rated GOOD by Ofsted. This is a brilliant opportunity for a passionate individual who is looking to make a positive impact in the lives of young people with Special Educational Needs.
Position: SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Liverpool
Type: Full-time, Permanent
Start Date: Immediate
Key Responsibilities:
📗Providing 1:1 support to students with SEN and Challenging Behaviour, ensuring they are able to access the curriculum effectively.
👨🏫Implementing tailored strategies and interventions to meet the specific needs of each student.
🖋️Assisting with classroom activities and promoting a positive learning environment.
✏️Collaborating with teachers and other staff members to develop and deliver personalised learning plans.
Requirements:
🖇️Child Enhanced DBS registered on the Update Service is essential
🧑🏫Previous experience working 1:1 with students with learning difficulties is essential.
🖋️Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification is advantageous.
📃Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
📝Ability to work effectively as part of a team
🖋️Team Teach qualification is desirable
