Job description
We are a well-established specialist metal work fabricator and supplier of high-quality Architectural metal work including, Gates, Railing, Balustrades, Staircases, Handrails, and other Bespoke Metal Work, from design through to fabrication, site delivery and installation. We work in the South West and along the M4 corridor into London. Our customers are private individuals and building contractors.
We are looking for a site team leader to join our small team. Based in Corsham Wiltshire.
You must be able to read and understand drawings for setting out installations. Ability to lead a team of 2 or 3 people and communicate well with private customers, main contractors site team and our team at the workshop. You will Ensure the quality of finished products by conducting inspections and making necessary adjustments.
Preferably you will have experience fitting Architectural metal work and fabrication. But experience of site fitting in other trades would be considered.
You must be able to weld mild steel.
Use various fixing systems
Ability to use a variety of hand tools
Excellent attitude towards the customer
Must be physically fit, as there is a lot of lifting involved
Work independently and lead a team
Good attention to detail and accuracy in all work with ability to produce quality work and overcome any problems on site
Full clean UK driving licence.
A van is provided to travel to work and site.
The job requires travelling to site and will occasionally require early starts and late finishes to get the job installed on the day.
Normal hours of work: Monday to Thursday 7.30am – 4.30pm, Fridays 7.30am – 12.30pm
