Job description
Jenson Fisher are delighted to be once again supporting our long standing client who are out and out leaders in their field to recruit an Accounts Receivable Assistant on a permanent, full time basis. Based in Perth, our client are looking to hire a competent, forward thinking individual who has previous exposure to the accounts receivable process alongside a strong understanding of where this fits within the wider finance department.
Working as an integral part of an established team in a fast-paced environment, as an Accounts Receivable Assistant, you will be a key member of the finance function, responsible for ensuring timely and accurate processing of receivables. This role is ideal for someone with strong organisational skills and a commitment to maintaining positive relationships with clients.
On a day to day basis your responsibilities will include:
- Generate and issue invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
- Ensure all billing information is complete and compliant with company policies.
- Monitor and follow up on outstanding customer invoices.
- Collaborate with internal teams to resolve billing discrepancies and disputes.
- Record and allocate customer payments accurately.
- Reconcile accounts to ensure proper accounting of all transactions.
- Maintain positive relationships with clients and address any inquiries regarding invoices or account balances.
- Provide excellent customer service to internal and external stakeholders.
- Assist in the preparation of regular reports ranging from aged debt to cash flow and forecasting.
