Job Description:
We are recruiting for an Employment Advisor who will engage with, support and mentor job seekers who have mental health or physical disabilities to help them on their journey in securing sustainable employment.
You will work intensively with each customer to identify and address their barriers to employment and you will refer each customer to internal/external training provision to increase their skills, confidence, and self-worth. Working together across every point of their employment journey you will set appropriate SMART targets and through partnership working with Community Mental Health teams, you will ensure each customer has the support needed to securing sustainable employment.
We are eager to speak to applicants who currently work with job seekers, and we are also open to those with transferable skills (minimum of 2 years) in providing advice and guidance to customers seeking to gain new skills/abilities to increase their confidences and personal skillset.
Due to the nature of this role, you will be required to complete an online Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check. You will also have access to your own vehicle as this role will be based across the region.
