Our client is a leading M&E Consultancy, renowned for delivering innovative electrical design solutions across diverse projects.
The Role:
As a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer , you will lead mechanical services design projects and mentor junior members of the mechanical engineering team.
Responsibilities:
- Design Mechanical Services, produce specifications, and draft drawings.
- Collaborate with Electrical, CAD, and Secretarial staff for efficient production processes.
- Represent Mechanical and Electrical Design at Design Team Meetings.
- Operate ACad and BIM Systems, undertake training in REVIT MEP.
- Perform condition assessments, PPM Surveys, and Reports.
- Conduct defects inspections and issue certifications.
- Write operation and maintenance manuals.
- Produce SBem and Sap Calculations.
- Attend client and professional meetings.
Requirements:
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Design Engineer or in a similar role.
- Experience in building services design sector.
- Hold HNC in building services engineering.
- Strong computer skills (Microsoft Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- A full driving license and car access required.
